RT Journal Article ID 6d1402b911367088 A1 Kharlamov, Sergey T1 Heat and Mass Transfer in Facilities with a Moving Piston JF Heat Transfer Research JO HTR YR 2007 FD 2007-05-15 VO 38 IS 3 SP 233 OP 243 AB The results of numerical investigation of turbulent heat transfer of a thermal ionized gaseous mixture in a chamber behind an accelerated piston are presented by the model which considers the thermal and dynamic inertia of a working continuum, the nonstationary state of the turbulent structure, the interference of chemical reactions and turbulence, and the variability of gaseous thermophysical properties. For determining the turbulent transfer coefficients, a multiparametric model which includes the transport equations for individual components of Reynolds shear stress and fluxes, turbulence kinetic energy and its integral scale is used. The flow structure and heat transfer behind the moving piston are analyzed in detail. PB Begell House LK https://www.dl.begellhouse.com/journals/46784ef93dddff27,5fa4342a406c6e78,6d1402b911367088.html
