Based on the research conducted, the method is proposed that is simple in performance and accelerates determination procedure. The use of mercury salts is not needed if the concentration of chloride ions does not exceed 250 mg/L. The analyses of natural waters have shown a good reproducibility of the results obtained, and revealed practically no differences as compared to the values resulting from the standard method. It is not recommended to concentrate the water samples by evaporating or freezing. %8 2001-04-01
