T1 ETHANOL CONVERSION INTO A SYNGAS ASSISTED BY A DC ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE DISCHARGE JF High Temperature Material Processes: An International Quarterly of High-Technology Plasma Processes JO HTM YR 2014 FD 2015-12-16 VO 18 IS 3 SP 211 OP 216 K1 atmospheric pressure glow discharge K1 syngas K1 hydrogen K1 numerical modeling K1 thermal conversion AB The complex experimental and theoretical investigations of ethanol conversion into a synthetic gas assisted by a DC non-self-sustained air atmospheric pressure glow discharge in three-electrode configuration were performed. The electrical power of the discharge was varied from 100 W to 250 W. The 2D numerical modeling of ethanol conversion was developed using the Konnov model. The experimental and calculated compositions of the syngas components are in good agreement.
