A total of 118 species of algae represented by 125 infraspecific taxa were found during the period of investigations (1988−1995, 1999, 2004−2007). The largest number of species of epiphytic algae was registered in the Kanev Reservoir - 71 species (72 infraspecific taxa) and in the Kremenchug Reservoir - 71 species (73 infraspecific taxa). On the whole, 14 species (15 infraspecific taxa) of algae were found in the Dnieper reservoirs for the first time. Three algae species are new to the algae flora of Ukraine. %8 2011-01-11
