SINOPSIS

The results of electron microscopic studies of Centrophyceae from Lake Konchezero (Russia, Karelia) are presented. Eight centric diatoms are revealed for the first time for the water body flora. Taxonomic position is refined and new data on morphology of the frustule are given for a number of taxa.
