SINOPSIS

The paper deals with the results of original studies of taxonomic diversity and structure of dominant complexes of phytoplankton in the deep-water lakes of Southern Ural in a high-water hydrological cycle. Lake phytoplankton is formed by representatives of Bacillariophyta, Chrysophyta, and Chlorophyta with significant portions of cyanoprokaryotes and Dinophyta.
