SINOPSIS
The deformation of compressible materials is analyzed. Relationships are established between the variation in the bulk deformation of soil and the distance to and the depth of insertion of axially-symmetrical charges. Results of practical application to problems of the geohydrodynamics of explosion in developing of efficient technologies for performing mining and earth-moving operations and their implementation in civil and water-reclamation construction and in other fields are presented.
