Pathways of Taurine Influences on the Gastric Secretion
SINOPSIS
In the chronic experiments on the dogs with gastric fistulas the influences of amino acid taurine on the gastric secretion were investigated. It was shown that taurine did not caused acid gastric secretion out of the digestion, but increased the gastric secretion stimulated by histamine, increased the contents of gastric acid and pepsine in secret. 15 minutes and two hours after administration of amino acid was shown changes of the Na+ and K+ concentrations in gastric juice on histamine. The greatest changes in the basic indices of gastric secretion were observed 14 hours after the application of an amino acid. In these experiments the contents of total proteins and components of adenile system in gastric secret was increased also. Blockade of cholinoreceptors by atropine, benzohexonium and iem-1678 decreases the effects of taurine on gastric secretion stimulated by histamine. Blockade of α-adrenoreceptors by phentolamine did not prevent the accomplishment of taurine effects on histamine gastric secretion. It is established that under the conditions of the blockade of β-adrenoreceptors by obsidane taurine entirely does not manifest its potentiating influence on the gastric secretion stimulating by histamine. Obtained data testify that taurine affects on gastric secretion stimulated by histamine and realization of these effects occurs through m- and n-cholino- and β-adrenoreceptors.
