THE FUNDAMENTAL PROPERTIES OF SEPARATION IN UNSTEADY SUPERSONIC IDEAL GAS FLOWS
SINOPSIS
It is shown analytically that unsteady supersonic gas flow, as well as stationary flow, detaches from a streamlined surface when a Ferri point vortical singularity (VS) floats from it. Analysis of conditions under which the separation of stationary and unsteady gas flows occurs is carried out.
