FORECASTING THE CONSEQUENCES OF HIGH-SPEED INTERACTION OF REINFORCED CONCRETE AND STEEL−CONCRETE CONSTRUCTIONS WITH HIGH-SPEED PROJECTILES
SINOPSIS
Based on experimental data, using the method of computer simulation, the research of the strength of reinforced concrete and steel−concrete constructions affected by a high-speed metal projectile, including the one having an explosive charge, was conducted. The elongation of the projectile, its velocity and the angle of incidence on the examined structure are shown to influence the depth of penetration into the spatially separated barriers. The presented results of mathematical simulation show the possibility of using the computational software package RANET-3 in investigating the construction strength under the high-speed impact with projectiles of unrestricted shape.
