VARIATIONAL ITERATION METHOD FOR THE q-DIFFUSION EQUATIONS ON TIME SCALES
SINOPSIS
The q-difference modeling is a new approach to describing complex phenomena in transport of mass and heat, especially on nanoscale in porous media exhibiting nonlinear effects. The variational iteration method (VIM) has been applied to the q-diffusion equation with a source term. Efforts have been made to correct the representation of Lagrange multiplier, a pivotal step in the VIM ensuring correct development of the approximate analytical solution.
