SINOPSIS
Fagotia acicularis and F. esperi from 131 biotopes within the Danube, the Dnister, the South Bug, the Lower Dnieper, the Prypyat (the river Goryn and Sluch) basins were investigated. The retrospective analysis (since 1830−the first finding in Ukraine) and assessment of their actual distribution were carried out. Hydrological and hydrochemical regimes of habitats and ecological spectra of two species were established. Occurrence frequency, population density and biomass in all main rivers of Ukraine were given.
PALABRAS CLAVE: Fagotia acicularis, F. esperi, distribution, ecology, effects of anthropogenic load.
