SINOPSIS
Structural characteristics of zoobenthos and zooperiphyton communities, the floristic composition and phytocenotic structure of aquatic vegetation, and peculiarities of the plant cover, were studied in various water bodies of the estuarine region of the Vita River (the right-bank tributary of the Dnieper River). It has been found that the mentioned communities are highly diverse in their species composition, whereas the intensity of their development is also rather high.
