SINOPSIS
Peculiarities of the bream of the Rybinsk reservoir feeding over all period of the reservoir existence have been analyzed. It was stated that since the reservoir was filled to its design level (in 1947 and 1970) feeding of all age groups of bream was poor. During the further period (1970−1985) Chironomidae and Oligochaeta became more important in the fish feeding. However significant differences in the animal components consumption between different local bream populations within certain pools were observed. Such differences are connected with natural factors and anthropogenic impact on the reservoir. Actual state of the bream's feeding has been assessed.
