Dynamics of the Chlorophyll α Content in Phytoplankton of the Kuybyshev Reservoir

SINOPSIS

Regularities of seasonal dynamics of the chlorophyll α content in the Kuybyshev Reservoir and its phytoplankton inter-annual fluctuations are considered. The examples of chlorophyll α distribution over the reservoir in different biological seasons are given. The influence of accidental wastewater discharges from the large cities on the chlorophyll α content is shown.
