SINOPSIS

Paper deals with conceptual provisions, which can be used as a basis for development of the main directions of hydrobiological monitoring of the techno-ecosystems of the energetic enterprises. The scope of biological monitoring, list of biological objects of monitoring, controlled parameters, periodicity and principles of the monitoring sites location were discussed. Connection of tasks of the hydrobiological monitoring of the techno-ecosystems with provisions of the EU Water Framework Directive was considered.
