Tissue Peculiarities of the Protein Anabolism in Bivalve Mollusk Anadara inaeguivalvis in Norm, under Food Deficit and Anoxia
SINOPSIS
Peculiarities of anabolic activity of tissues of the bivalve mollusk Anadara inaeguivalvis in norm, under food deficit and experimental anoxia have been studied. It was shown that in normal conditions processes of the protein synthesis, assessed by total RNA content and index RNA/DNA, were tissue-specific. Under food deficit these processes in gills, hepatopancreas and podium were differently directed. In gills biosynthesis rate was stable, in podium tissues it decreased 1.3 times. Under external anoxia anabolic activity in gills and hepatopancreas decreased, at this processes of the protein catabolism became more intensive. Podium tissues were characterized by active protein metabolism: intensification of RNA synthesis and increase of the amino acids pool.
