SINOPSIS
We presented the problem of risk control interpretation from the standpoint of applied catastrophe theory. The potential of catastrophe theory methods and techniques to study the risk control problems are considered. The horizon of forecast concept connection with the problem of risk control is shown. The forecast horizon concepts of required and significant accuracy are introduced.
