SINOPSIS
Models of queuing-inventory systems with two types of requests, where the request of low priority are accepted only if the current inventory level exceeds a certain critical value, are suggested. It is provided that one of the following replenishment policies can be used, i.e., the two levels policy, the policy of variable order quantity and the policy, when a request of unit size is served after every inventory items issuance. Exact and approximate methods of determination of the system characteristics were developed. The results of numerical experiments of models computations are stated and the problem of their optimization is solved.
