SINOPSIS
The processes of solar activity are cyclic. The problem of their analysis consists in estimation of informative parameters of data of variation of investigated factors. We suggested technique and theoretically substantiated procedure of processing of cyclic time sequence of numerical data for estimation of mean period of cycle. We investigate recursive smoothing procedure with "sliding" polynomial window (as a polynomial of the fourth order). Computer modeling confirms effectiveness of the suggested technique and procedures of analysis of processes of solar activity.
