APPLICATION OF THE MULTIPOINT SYNCHRONOUS CIRCUIT OF THE ANNULAR BOOSTER PELLET

SINOPSIS

In order to improve the initiation capacity of the annular booster pellet, a multipoint synchronous circuit was designed to help the initiation. Four-point and eight-point synchronous circuits were investigated and compared. The synchronous time was calculated and analyzed. The initiation process of the annular booster pellet equipped with this circuit was simulated using ANSYS/LY-DYNA software. The experimental measurements were performed to test the initiation capacity of the same annular booster pellet. The results showed that the initiation capacity of the annular booster pellet was improved significantly by applying the multipoint synchronous circuit. In the situation of ensuring the smaller deviation of synchronous time, the eight-point synchronous circuit was found to be more effective than the four-point circuit.
