Objective-oriented Transformation of Wave Amplitude and Polarization Parameters in Two-Reflector Systems

SINOPSIS

The feasibility of objective-oriented transformation of the full parameter set of an optical wave, i.e., the vectors of an electromagnetic field specified on an arbitrary wavefront, with the aid of two-reflector systems is analyzed. It is shown that such a transformation is possible and that the two-reflector system which implements it must be asymmetrical.
