RESEARCH AND DESIGN OF INTELLIGENT PLANNING SYSTEM FOR SHIP ROUTE BASED ON ELECTRONIC CHART DISPLAY AND INFORMATION SYSTEM
SINOPSIS
The planning of ship routes is an important issue in navigation, which can directly affect the safety and economic benefits of ships. Based on Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS), this study combined graph theory with ECDIS electronic chart to model marine environment using grid method, extracted difficult areas through point and line detection and searched the shortest route using the improved A* algorithm. In the same marine environment, the result of route planning in the system proposed in this study had fewer turning points, shorter route length and shorter search time. The denser the grid division, the shorter the route length and the higher the precision. The experiment proves the value of ECDIS in intelligent route planning and makes some contributions to the realization of reliable route planning.
