SINOPSIS

This work deals with simulation of radio-wave propagation in cities. The field behavior in a shadow area, created by the relief of the underlying terrain, has been researched on the basis of the Huygens-Kirchhoff method. An engineering formula has been obtained for UHF/VHF waves to calculate the signal level in urban conditions with regard to the path profile.
