EVALUATION OF INFLUENCE OF MICROWAVE RADIATION SENSOR IN THE FORM OF AN OPEN END OF THE COAXIAL LINE ON ITS METROLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS
SINOPSIS
The work is dedicated to the systematization of physical factors that determine the ability of measurements of dielectric materials parameters using a microwave sensor in the form of a coaxial line open end. The estimate of the lower bound of a possible range of dielectric losses measurement is considered in detail. Quantitative estimates of the measurement ranges and criteria for selection of sensor parameters, obtained in an analytical way, will make it possible to use effectively the numerical methods and advanced software for engineering calculations of specific devices.
