One aim of experimental investigations is to offer data for the checking and validation of analytical computer models. This aim has been emphasized lately in the Federal Republic of Germany by requiring prediction before each experimental test. The phenomena during the initial phase of blowdown of the GKSS - large scale multivent tests, were predicted using the DRASYS-Code developed at GRS. The quasi-steady pressure "build-up and the dynamic loads generated during vent clearing and pool swell have been predicted. For post-test calculation of harmonic condensation oscillations the behaviour of the conservative vibration system has been first calculated with DRASYS. This system includes the drywell volume, the pipe and bubble volume, the water mass in the pool and the wetwell airspace volume.
