ABSTRAKT

Despite the degree of complexity and the improvements of the two-equation eddy-viscosity models, the study of adverse pressure gradient flows is still problematic due to the existence of non-linear phenomena. Among the list of critical flows, the non-equilibrium boundary layers flows hold especially the attention. A good approach of the turbulence is necessary to improve the prediction of these kind of flows. But the classical one-point closures used for the numerical simulations lead to several modelling problems which have various origins. These problems include highly anisotropic turbulence, influence of density variations, compressibility and effects of strong deviations from equilibrium.
