The increase of the light intensity from 10 to 344 µmol m−2·s−1 caused a decrease of the chlorophyll content both per cell and per unit of carbon ranged from 2 times for G. fissum and H. triquetra to 5 times for P. micans and P. pusillum. In most species, C/N ratio increased 1.2−1.4 times. The general equation linking cell volume and carbon content was calculated based on original and literature data (C = 0.377·V0.898). %8 2016-01-11
