%X Two compounds possessing estrogenic activity were isolated from the mycelia of a medicinal fungus, Cordyceps ophioglossoides. These compounds were identified as ethyl (E)-8-oxo-9-oactadecenoate and 4-(2-hydroxyethyl) phenol, respectively.
