EFFECT OF THE POROSITY PARAMETER OF PERFORATED WALLS ON THE AMPLITUDE OF THE REFLECTED DISTURBANCE IN THE VICINITY OF A MODEL FOR SUPERSONIC FLOWS
ABSTRAKT
The optimal porosity parameter in the Darcy boundary condition for a perforated wall is theoretically determined within the framework of the supersonic aerodynamics of small perturbations. Perturbations from boundary flow in the vicinity of the model are almost eliminated for this parameter. By numerical simulation, the influence of porosity on the compressible gas flow over a "cone–cylinder" body was investigated in the channel on the walls on which the Darcy condition is valid. The results of the calculation confirm the theoretically obtained optimum porosity parameter.
