THE SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM OF DEFLECTIONS OF A RECTANGULAR THIN ISOTROPIC PLATE WITH ALL BUILT-IN EDGES IN THE EQUATIONS FOR THE BENDING MOMENTS

ABSTRAKT

In addition to the known biharmonic equation of thin plate bending in the classical Kirchhoff statement, three equivalent equations expressed through moments are considered. These new equilibrium equations are given for the moments Mx, My, and Mxy, in which integrability conditions of deflection are fulfilled. Unlike the expressions obtained previously by the author for the bending moments, the transformed formulas are presented here. The definition of deflection function w and slopes dw/dx and dw/dy of a plate through the found moments is ensured by the conditions of compatibility of deformations. As an example, the calculation of a uniformly loaded rectangular plate with all built-in edges is considered.
