THE INFLUENCE OF THE TRACK BEHIND THE UNDERCARRIAGE ON THE FIELD OF SPEED IN THE REGION OF A RAM AIR TURBINE

ABSTRAKT

The results of calculations and experimental research on the influence of the track behind the main landing gear on the velocity field in the region of a ram air turbine are presented. The numerical investigations were based on the solution to the Reynolds-averaged Navier−Stokes equations. The experiment on a model of a passenger aircraft with high-lift wings was conducted in the T-103 wind tunnel at TsAGI using an air pressure detector nozzle.
