ABSTRAKT
It has been found that in summertime ultraviolet radiation is capable of enhancing the inhibitory effect of some pollutants, including oil products (gasoline and diesel oil), heavy metals (copper), and to a lesser extent diphenols (hydroquinone), on the photosynthesis of plankton algae occurring in the surface layer of water.
