ABSTRAKT
The content of ascorbic acid was determined in the liver, kidneys, gonads, spleen, and blood serum of Huso huso L., Acipenser gueldenstaedti Brandt, Acipenser stellatus Pall, and Acipenser ruthenus L. It has been found that ascorbic acid content varied depending on the sex, species, season, and habitat of fish. The concentration of ascorbat in the studied organs of fish of the family Acipenseridae increased in summer and decreased in wintertime. It has been shown that the content of ascorbic acid is organ-specific and depends on the functions of appropriate organs.
