ABSTRAKT

An approach to optimizing interplanetary trajectories of space vehicles with bi-modal nuclear rocket engines is proposed. Such trajectories are formed by combining the paths of small and large traction. The problem of optimizing an interplanetary flight is considered, using the modified method of spheres of influence. While calculating the boost path the finiteness of the engine traction is taken into account. Optimization of the paths of a small traction is performed by the transporting trajectory method. Optimal control is studied by means of the Pontryagin maximum principle for systems with the discontinuous right-hand side and alteration of the phase space. The analysis of the effectiveness of reducing fuel consumption on large traction planetocentric paths owing to the use of small traction on heliocentric paths, is given.
