ABSTRAKT
The burning rate of a propellant and the ignition time of an igniter are two important parameters of base bleed projectile. These two factors have dominant effects on the extended range and the dispersion of the projectile. So far there is no reference related to determining the effect of these two parameters theoretically.
This paper has given a principle and a method used to determine the burning rate of a propellant and the ignition time of an igniter. It has theoretical and applicational value for us to design base bleed projectiles.
