ABSTRAKT
A single-shot, broad-band CARS system has been constructed to measure the flame temperature of solid propellants. A brief review of the development of this apparatus in Taiwan is presented; results obtained from various beam arrangements (USED CARS, HYBRID BOXCARS and BOXCARS) are compared. Recent results on the measurements of the flame temperature of both CH4 and solid propellants are discussed.
