摘要

2-6% of all water reliance in the world is used as drinking water, and 60-80% is used as cooling water. It can be notified that the limiting factor for building new and enlargement the existing energy and industrial capacities is the deficiency of the once-through cooling water. This problem will be even more significant in the future, having on mind straitens of the water resource and growing environmental demands.
In this paper, the comparative analysis from the investment, exploiting and environmental point of view of the recirculation-type cooling systems in actual appliance is given. The results which are obtained by author's theoretical and experimental investigations in sense of getting the fill pack coefficient in the wet cooling towers are also given. In this paper are presented the new conception of wet/dry hybrid cooling tower and the proposal for increasing the part of fill pack efficiency in the large wet cooling towers.
