4.13 A Dispersed Flow Heat Transfer Model for Low-Flow Bottom Reflooding ConditionsDOI: 10.1615/ICHMT.1982.AdvCourHeatTransfNucReactSaf.490 K. H. Sun AbstractAnalysis is performed for the condition of low-flow reflooding heat transfer that may exist in reactor cores. At the region below the quench front, superficial velocities of phases are calculated from mass and energy balances with a drift flux correlation. At the quench front, the heat release due to the motion of quench front is considered. At the region above the quench front, a dispersed droplet flow heat transfer analysis is applied. |
