Thermal Erosive Destruction of Materials Interacting with High-Temperature Heterogeneous Jets

ABSTRACT

A discussion of experimental facilities and test procedures and some results of a study of the thermal erosive effect of heterogeneous jets on different materials are presented. The effects of particle concentration, composition and properties of the surrounding medium on the destruction intensity are obtained.
