Microflora and the Processes of Production and Decomposition in the Uvod Reservoir
摘要
Spatial and temporal changes in microbiological indices were studied in the Uvod reservoir. The numbers of bacterioplankton accounted for 1.6-11 million cells/ml, whereas its biomass was 180-600 mg/L. The numbers of bacteriobenthos were 0.6-12 billion cells/g, whereas its biomass accounted for 0.25-0.80 mg/g of wet silt. The numbers of saprophytic bacteria in water were not more than 1 thousand cells/ml, whereas their numbers in bottom sediments accounted for 100 thousand cells/g. Production ofbacterioplankton was 20-100 mg C/L·day, primary production - 0.34-1.90 mg/L·day, whereas decomposition -0.13-0.80 mg/L·day.
