ABSTRACT

The article demonstrates the influence of bluntness on turbulent flow and heating on the flat plate near a sharp wedge. The experiments were performed in the Ludwieg wind tunnel. Heat flux (Stanton number) fields were measured by temperature-sensitive paint. Presented experimental data can be used for CFD code validation.
