Open End Radiation Parameters of Canted Waveguide Loaded with an Infinite Dielectric Plate

ABSTRACT

The interaction between edges of two parallel half-planes separated by a laterally infinite dielectric layer is considered. Analytical expressions have been derived for the radiation characteristics in free space and eigenmode amplitudes in the dielectric layer. The dependences of these characteristics upon geometric and material parameters of the structure have been studied numerically.
