DEVELOPMENT OF TELEMEDICINE SYSTEM TELECOM FOR REMOTE MONITORING OF PATIENTS
摘要
In this paper, a novel telemedicine system TELECOM developed recently in Scientific-Technologic Center of Radio Electronic Medical Devices and Technologies KhAI-MEDICA is suggested and described. Telemedicine system TELECOM is designed for the aim of exchange of health information between two remote areas and sites. Suggested equipment of TELECOM enables medical staff to monitor a patient health remotely by exploiting modern telecommunications technologies and services such as digital data transmitting and receiving by utilizing such modern telecommunication technologies like wireless communication tools, computer networks, and global positioning system (GPS). Special data processing software has been created and examined in real-life situation for remote patient monitoring. Results of experimental examination demonstrate the benefits obtained by the services and provided with exploiting novel suggested telemedicine equipment TELECOM.
