ROLE OF MICROWAVE RADIATION IN SELF-BLOOD THERAPY
摘要
This paper summarizes some aspects of low-intensity microwaves interaction with human blood. Here we present the results of multidisciplinary study on optimizing therapy for chronic neurological disorders including microwave autohemotherapy. It represents a physiotherapeutic method based on the blood transfusion after a short-term and low-intensity exposure to microwaves (λ = 7.2 mm). The details of the applying technique and the developed device have been described. According to clinical evidence, microwave autohemotherapy provides favorable effects occurring at both the cellular and body level. Our preliminary results have shown the enhancement of membrane activity and normalizing parameters of blood cells in patients who received integrated therapy (autohemotherapy). We assume that the underlying mechanism of microwave bioeffects is the reducing the thickness of boundary water layer in the cellular membranes, which in its turn may cause the acceleration of metabolic processes and improvement of tissues oxygenation.
