HEXAGONAL MICROSTRIP PATCH ANTENNA FOR EARLY STAGE SKIN CANCER IDENTIFICATION

摘要

This works involves designing of Hexagon shaped microstrip patch antenna with h-tree fractal slots for detecting skin cancer. Here it identifies tumor cells present in the skin through noninvasive method. It works with the use of electromagnetic waves focused in the direction where it is needed to diagnose. Skin cancer a lethal disease that recognized in the early stages can be cured. The ground surface of the antenna is etched to expand the bandwidth and improve the performance of the antenna. The operating frequency of the proposed antenna is 2.76 GHz and 4.16 GHz. The antenna will be designed, analyzed using CST Microwave studio in 3D electromagnetic (EM) field simulation software. The designed antenna will be fabricated and will be used to identify cancerous cells. The simulated and observed outcomes are found to be in good agreement with expected results.
